I can at least help you with Joseph's siblings, I think.

I have used several sources to put these together and in some cases I see two different birthdates ????

The father is James A. Atwood born about 1859 Indiana. In 1900 he was a mail carrier, 1910 a fisherman (catches and sells), and 1920 he was a farmer.

The wife in 1900 and listed as Maude A, in 1910 as Annie, and in 1920 as Montania. I don't know for sure that this is the same woman but I am fairly sure that Maude A. and Annie are the same person because in 1910 she claims to be the mother of 11 with 11 living. I can see how Maud Annie might sound like Montanny, <grin> Here goes............

1.James born July 1884
2.Maggie born Apr 1886
3.Jesse born Sep 1887
4.Tina born Mar 1889
5.Vesta born May 1842
6.Hettie born Mar 1894
7.Joe born Sep 1895
8.Carl born Sep 1891
9.Victor born 1901
10.Hubert born 1902
11.Daniel born 1906

On military registration for WWI there is a
James Edward Atwood born 16 Jul 1884
Carl Atwood born 25 Dec 1899 (shows James A as nearest kin)
Joseph Henry Atwood born 26 Sep 1897

In what I can see so far, I would say that James A. is the son of John and Rebecca, unless there is more than one James Atwood in that county.
