I am looking for descendants (and ancestors) of John ATWOOD (born c1802, Lower Stratton, Wiltshire, England - died 1886, Blenheim, New Zealand) who emigrated to New Zealand in 1841 on the ship "Whitby". He had 3 wives - Jane, Mary DUNN & Mary Ann HATCHER. I am descended from John & Mary (nee DUNN). Some of the other surnames connected with the family are - Gledhill, Hobbs, Baldick, Adams, Osborne, Barleigh, Booker, Roberts, Smith, Mitchener, Haines, Gibbs, Wells, Payton, Botham, Taylor, Gardiner, Keehan, Chisnall.
