Are you sure that your Thomas was born in Great Parndon circa 1815?
The only Thomas born in Great Parndon was the 6th. child of Charles(1) Attwood, my 3xGGG and Mary Ann Parrish his second wife. He married his first wife Susannah Warren 01-Apr-1815 in St. Mary's Church Great Parndon, she had six children, died and was buried: 23-Jun-1822. I have searched the Great Parndon Registers but have not found any Attwood’s previous to Charles(1), and only his family appear in the 1841 and later Census. I have not been able to find Charles(1) parents in Whitechapel either. I am descended from Charles(2) the second child of the second marriage, a brother to Thomas.
I do not have any data on Thomas so he may have moved out of area as your Thomas did, or he may be the same chap!

1 Censuses: Charles always stated he was born in Whitechapel, London and gave various ages.
As he appears in Gt Parndon circa 1815 he may have had maternal relations living in the village, or sent as an apprentice out of London.
