Hello,

Not sure if I can help, but I have been looking for a John Attwood who went to Canada along with older brother William. My John Attwood was bap 26.10.1836 in Nunney, Frome Somerset. His parents were James and Sarah(James did leave Sarah at some point and went to Amercia with another lady and their daughter)
John and William had another brother Charles (my line) who was born in Wandsworth, Middlesex, he stayed in England.
I have alot more on the family from 1715 in Nunney,Frome (which I noticed you mentioned) and have a copy of a family book written by James Attwood which includes some of his fathers scriptural notes, who was a local preacher in the Wesleyan Methodist Church.
