You mention the Staffordshire area. My great, great grandfather was Benjamin ATTWOOD, of Cradley, Worcestershire (very, very close to the Staffs border) in the Black Country. His daughter Mary Ann (b. 2 April 1869 d. 4 May 1921) married John Raybould, a chainmaker, who helped make the anchor chains for the Titanic. Other Attwoods in the area were ironmasters, butchers and political reformers. Any links?
