Hi Pat,
Curious to know if you have found any more info of this post ------- it caught my eye as I am batting ZERO w/my tri-racial line of WEEDEN,WHILDEN,WEELDON/BROWN family for
which I can make NO connections----suspect that some ancestors may have been slaves of the Fredericksburg, VA
family of WEEDONS, but I'll be darned if I can figure any
of it out.
Have come across the CHEEK surname in NC, but fail to confirm any of the suspected links to my line.
Still hoping to find answers after 13yrs of unsuccessful
hunting.
