I am researching the Attaway line also and I am wondering what evidence you have that Elisha Attaway b. 1793 is the son of Joseph Attaway married to Edith "Edie" Nations? I have a list of 14 children as well as the ancestors of Joseph Attaway and Edith "Edie" Nations but I have no Elisha listed. I do have Elisha Attaway married to Rebecca Ford in my file but I have NO parents or siblings for either. What is the book you talk about in your post and who wrote it? I would like to know more about your documentation if you are willing to share.
