Attaway of 467 A Joseph Attaway b 28 Nov 1830 in Ala or Ga - d 18 Oct 1888. Married Elizabeth Haradaway in Caddo Parish, La 11 Dec 1851. Elizabeth was born in Ga. The 1860 Jasper Co., Tx census lists them with 4 children; the 1880 Waller Co., Tx census lists them with 9 children. Joseph was referred to as "Honest Joseph". Elizabeth was adopted by her uncle, John Hardaway. Do not know why - nor do I know her surname before adoption. Any help refarding this family would be greatly appreciated.
