I just left my sister's home in Bountiful, UT. I obtained the genealogy of my Atkinson family done by a professional genealogist. He claims to have documented his research. Christopher Atkinson is also my 4th Great Grandfather, and my original records also have two birth years as do yours.
The record I now have shows the following:
Birth - 4 Dec. 1782, Franklin Manor, Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada
Died - 5 Oct. 1849, Mt. Whitney Cem by point de Bute, New Brunswick, Canada
This death location differs from my records showing that he died in the birthplace of most of his children including my 3rd GGrandfather, William Atkinson, in Sackville, Westmorland, New Brunswick, Canada. The Mt.Whitney Cem. location may be a burial site instead of a place of death.
