My Great-great-grandfather's name was Levi Atkinson. He was in the Civil War on the Union side. His son, my great-grandfather, was named George Atkinson. And his son, my grandfather, was named Linwood David Atkinson. All originally came from the New Jersey area. The only name I have for New Jersey is RedBank, NJ...if that is a place. There were still relatives of my father, Robert Erwin Atkinson, son of Linwood David Atkinson, in New Jersey somewhere...I believe the names were Helen and Little Helen and maybe another George. Anyway, I have a picture of Levi Atkinson in his Union Army Uniform. I am the daughter of Robert Erwin Atkinson.
