John Atkins 1819 -1875 was born in Giles Co. and possibly was the son of John Atkins Sr. and his first wife Mary Croft Atkins. He and Sarah are listed in the Giles Co. 1850 Other Atkins moved to Tipton County, Tenn. around 1866 and some a little later on. John Jr. died in Tipton County but I don't know where he is buried . The other Atkins are buried in Townsend Cemetery near Solo, Tenn. in Tipton county.
