Isaac Atkins was son of James Atkins & his 1st wife Rebecca Stowe. According to Isaac's Revolutionary War pension application, he was residing in Grand Isle, Vt in 1833. No death record or grave has been found in Grand Isle. In "Soldiers, Sailors of the Revolutionary War for Vt" he is listed in Grand Isle in 1833, and South Hero, Vt. in 1838. I don't believe a grave has ever been found in South Hero, either. There is no indication of his wife Abigail's maiden name. His daughter Rhoda (Rohiss or Rohipsibah in some records)is my ggg grandmother. Do you have any information about his wife or his death?
