My maternal GGPa was Marvin Guy Atkins, born 10 Jun 1875 Grand Blanc, MI, married Georgia Barney (loc/date unk). They had one daughter, Merial Ilda Atkins, 20 May 25, Los Angeles, CA. Family moved west through ID before settling in CA; Georgia Barney died and Marvin remarried, Olive Lambert Rofe of Biggar, SK. Am looking for info on the Atkins' of Grand Blanc ca.1870s in an attempt to trace the lineage back further. Any and all help/suggestions appreciated.
