Govenour Henry Shelby Atkins is named for Govenour Isaac Shelby Of Kentucky born December 11, 1750 Died July 18, 1826. He was twice Govenour Of Kentucky. He was a Colonel at the Battle of King's Mountain and served as General in the War of 1812.
