Janet, the Rickles N. Adkins/Atkins I'm referring to lived in Ramseytown, Yancey Co., N. C. He married Tebetha Alice Bryant and they had 10 children. David W.,m.Delia Howell, Wilson,m.Hannah Edwards and Celia Honeycutt, Samuel Sidney m.Catherine Chandler,Spencer Parley, my great-grandfather, m. Martha Louise Wilson,daughter of "Big Tom" Wilson, that found Mr. Mitchell's body on Mt. Mitchell,which was named after him. Son John,Lovada,m. James?, Mira,Nancy, Lilia, and Susie.This is the info I have, not sure of all of it.Please let me know if this is the same Rickles you are working with.
