hi steve,Im trying to start my family tree.My aunt told me my grandfather was John Ross Atkins from Chatham Va.His parents were Preston Atkins and Martha Jones.They had 9 children John Ross,Richmond,Floyd,Oscar,Ballard,King,Annie Custer,Elsie,Molly.My grandfather married Frances Katherine Jackson.They also had 9 children.Meitha Atkins Blanks,Edward Atkins,Katherine Atkins Jackson,Hazel Atkins Jenkins,Erma Atkins Motley,Mertyl Atkins Jenkins,Noel Atkins(my dad),Carl Atkins,Frances Atkins Adkins Compton.I sure would like to have as much info as possibleabout my greatgrand parents and their family.I hope you can help me.thank you greta.
