I am looking for information on the ancestry of Asa Atkins. He was born in c.1760, probably in North Carolina. He married Frances "Franky" Lea, daughter of George and Lucy Tolbert Lea around 1780. She was born c.1761. They were in Georgia by 1785. Asa died in Wilkes County, GA, in 1799, and Franky died in 1801 in Hancock County. Their children were Nancy, Lucy, Arnold, Asa, Ransom, Jeremiah, Willis, George, Lovicy, and Unicy. Any info on this family would be extremely helpful. Thanks.
