I am just beginning a search on my Atkins family. My gg grandfather was George Douglas Atkins, and his wife's name was Elizabeth. I think there is either Creek or Cherokee Indian heritage. My g grandfather, George Atkins, died in Oregon in 1977. He and his wife (Mary Pratt Atkins)and family migrated from the midwest via California. If you have any information it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
