Doing concentrated research on Adkins/Atkins/Atkinson in Laurens during this period. Looking for the parents of Spencer Atkins b 1794 VA and m Milly Franks of Laruens Co, SC 1816. Milly's sister Rebecca married Martin Atkins. Both girls are dau of Marshall Franks. Both had moved to TN by 1820.

Would appreciate any known children of John or Thomas Adkins/Atkins of 1790 census, Benjamin or William of 1800, and of Betsy or either William of 1810.

Spencer and Martin are likely brothers or cousins. Thanks, Ed in Louisiana
