I descend from Susan Jane Atkins the daughter of James Atkins and sister of Zack Atkins. I do have information about James and his wife Elizabeth Harwell that I will be glad to share. However I must tell you that I have not been able to locate primary proof of kinship between James and Susan. I have not been able to locate this family on the 1850 census that would place the children in the household. All of the children married after the family moved to Texas so they should all be listed on the 1850 census. Please send me your addres and I will send you a review of what I have.
