John and Sally (Sarah) ATkins Jr. Madison Co Illinois 1800s

In 1820 there is a John Atkins Jr. in Madison Co., Illinois. In the 1850 census there is a daughter Sarah Anne, 16 years old, in his household. I am trying to ascertain if the Sarah Ann Atkins who married William James Holman in Shelby Co. in 1852 is this daughter? Is anyone descended from this family and might know?
