My French L. Atkins lived in Rappahannock County, Virginia. He was married to Rhoda Smith on 8-3-1856. He had 3 sons that I know of: Jackonias Menefee Atkins, William Atkins, and Franklin Lafayette Atkins. French's father was Spencer M. Atkins who lived in the Culpeper, Va area in 1818 when he married Mildred Brandon. I know in 1860 French and his wife and children moved in with his mother Mildred. I'm assuming at that time Spencer had passed away as she was listed as head of household. Any connection??
