I am very curious about the 'American Rooms'that are origianlly run by a Minnie Atkins then later it appears Clara Long and James Keefe run the place. Does anyone know more about this place? I have below, Pawhuska City Directories for 1925, 1928 and 1938 showing some of the names of those I am related to directly or indirectly. Clara LONG is my grandmother. Clara gives birth to Barbara Esther who is renamed Barbara Jane and is adopted by Ennis (Milam) Parker Johnson's daughter, Loraine and her husband Howard Langdon Clarke residing in California. Ennis's first marriage was to George Parker. The father of Barbara is James Keefe. Good possibility that Clara does the cooking as that is what she was know for, cooking for the bridge and road crews according to her daughter Nettie Lee.
