Is there any possibility that your Spencer Atkins could have been married twice??? Do you know his middle name? I have been following your Spencer Atkins/Milly Franks marriage. I have referred alot of people searching that marriage to your Family Tree Home Page.

I have also been researching a Spencer M. Atkins from the Rappahannock County area who was married to Mildred (Milly) Brandon. They were married in 1818 in Culpeper, Va. I am aware of at least two children: Robert M. Atkins, and French L. Atkins, both of whom married into the Pullen family. I believe the initial M in Spencer & Robert's name stands for Menefee. Spencer has a grandson with that middle name, which I believe may be a family name from Spencer's family.

Any possibility??

Thanks, Debbie
