Yvonne,
Nancy is definitely a daughter of Joseph, however, I am not sure if it is the older Joseph as I stated in the book. This Joseph seems to have moved to the Tazewell County area of Virginia while Nancy was definitely in the Montgomery/Giles area. Nancy Adkins, daughter of William Jr., did not marry a Joseph Adkins.

I have not been able to find any info on the older Joseph except the fact that he was in what would become Tazewell in 1799. Ronnie A.
