I have a Peter W. Adkins (Atkins) born in Tennessee abt 1846, par. unknown. Married Sallie Collins 15 Feb 1869 Memphis, Shelby Co. TN. Peter must have died? Sallie remarried George Smith in 1879. Peter's chil: Joe W. Adkins, born abt 1870, Mattie Cordelia Adkins bn 8 Jun 1872. Any of this look familiar to you. Trying to find ancestry of Peter.
