My great, great grandfather J.L. Adkins married a lady named Lidy and they had (among others?)my great grandfather named Floyd (Lacurgas?) Atkins (somewhere along the way the spelling changed from Adkins to Atkins). J.L. and Lidy were divorced and Lidy married a Smith. Their son (Floyd) married my great grandmother Emma Mae Hall and they had two sons Douglas and my grandfather Royce Atkins. As for what happened to J.L. Adkins, if he ever remarried or had any more kids, I don't know. This is as far back as I know, any information would be greatly appreciated.
