The Rev. John Simpson of the Fishing Creek Presbyterian Church of northeastern Chester co SC made several trips to the homes of members of his congregation in 1774-75. One such trip took him into the home of John and Phebe Atkins, and their children Richard, Samuel, and Mary. That trip began on Feb 8 1775.
