Thanks for your reply,Lisa, The Liverpool connection is so far only family hearsay. The only definite evidence I have so far is that Charles was married to Hannah Thorpe and died the same year as the birth of his son Harry Thorpe Atkins 1903. Harry was born in Newton, Hyde a sub-district of Ashton-under-Lyne (not a million miles from Manchester) any help you could give me would be a bonus. Regards Pam
