Found out today, that Lafayette Atkins was born in Washington County, Tennessee. In 1861, he was in Marion County. He joined Co. C, 10th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry. He was discharged September 20, 1862. He returned to Marion County, Ky and stayed there until he died in February, 1900. He is buried in St. Francis Cemetery, St. Francis, Ky.
Any ideas about who his parents were?? If he had any brothers or sisters??
