Robin Atkins,
My Abraham (Abia) Atkins was b. ca. 1777 in Lunenburg Co., VA d. 1858 Fayette Co., TN and he married Lucy Ann Freeman in Lunenburg Co., VA in ca. 1807. They had, at least, three known children: Elizabeth Atkins m: William Brooks; James Henry F. Atkins m: Lucy Dabney; and Lucy Ann Atkins m: Thomas Crutchfield. If you will send me your e-mail address I will send you more information. The family migrated from VA to NC to MS and then to Henry Co., TN where Lucy Ann (Freeman) Atkins died. Abraham Atkins then moved to Fayette Co., TN where he married a widow, Mary G. Lanier. He died there in December 1858 and left a will. I descend from James Henry F. Atkins and Lucy Ann Dabney.
