Sarah Perkins was listed as Sarah Atha in her father's will of 1825 (James Perkins/Parkins). She was listed in the 1820 Greenbrier census as Sara Atha which would suggest that her spouse was no longer in the household. Some family historians have claimed her spouses' name to be Thomas Alvin Athey who died in Gallia County, Ohio in 1845. A descendant of Sara Perkins Atha reports her death to have been 11 May 1868 in Monroe Co. WV. Would welcome any response w/additional information on the above to earlpattip@aol.com
