I have a John Athey, born 25 Oct 1819 (according to Bible record that I believe you have) who was married to a Mary Gorley abt. 1841 in Licking Co., OH. Their daughter Sarah Malissa Athey is my gr-gr-grandmother and was married to George W. Brooks 5 JUN 1867 in Hanover Twp, Licking Co., OH.
Would love to correspond with you on the Athey family. The Athey family is on my Mother's side, but a cousin on my Father's side has the McQueen's.
