Hi, my children are descended from Edith/Eda McCracken Athy Ellis who married William L. Ellis. They lived in Fulton County. They had 3 daughters and 1 son. My children are descended from their son, Solomon H. Ellis (the second). Edith is variously shown in the Censuses as being born in VA, KY, IL. It must have depended on who answered the Census taker.
