I'm trying to track down my 3-g grandfather John Atherton b 2 Oct 1796, married Martha Lee in Nov. 1817 in Prescott & died in 1869 in Great Sankey. His descendants were watermen / bargemen / mariners in and around Penketh & Warrington. Can anyone help?
