I'm looking for C. Atherton born abt 1845 in Ky. I don't don't his full name but his first son by first wife had the name of A. Edward T. Atherton born abt 1869/1865 according to some of his relatives in LaRue KY. However, someone stated in the 1880 census of Miss that Ed. was born abt 1869 TN. Of course this info may have come from the second wife (Maranda Honnell-Webb of Alcorn, Miss). He married her in 1877 and they ea had one son.
Unable to tie C. Atherton to parents, due to most of the families listed in 1850 with only initials. Is my C. Atherton, T.C., Canada, A.E.C. Atherton. Any help would be very much appreciated.
C. Atherton and Maranda brought all their children, including A.Ed. T. Atherton to Grayson Cnty, TX abt 1885. They remained on the Gunter Ranch until Maranda died abt 1889. C. Atherton then went to Houston, on to Galveston and met up with his first son and wife, and they came to the Dallas Cnty,TX area. C. Atherton died here in Dallas, TX (no death record found) about 1902.
Would appreciate any help.
