I don't suppose that there is any connection to a Thomas Abel Atherton or Alice Atherton who is his niece. Alice was my grandmother b.6-15-1878, and raised by Thomas after her parents and siblings died of some sort of plague. She was from Ma. and married my Grandfather Frank Cutter. Thankyou, Cindy
