Hello Carla,
My name is Anita Petrich and I live in Los Gatos, CA. My Father was John H. Atherton and he had relatives from Sikeston and St. Louis. My Grandfather was Arnie B. Atherton and I think George Washington Atherton may have been my grandfather's brother. I remember hearing stories from my Dad about GW Atherton. I need to dig into my records to see what else I can find. Does any of this sound familiar. I just happened to look up the name Atherton and saw this website.
