Hi Jim Atherton,
My brother Tom and I have been doing research on the branches of our family and we visited the Mayfield Creek Cemetary a few weeks ago. I have pictures of the stone markers on the graves of Rev. Howard Atherton and Sarah A. Atherton as well as
Martin H. Atherton and Alice Johnson.
My Granddad's sisters married Atherton brothers. Effie Williams married Nathan Lee
Atherton and Alice B. Williams married Moses
H. Atherton. They moved to Texas in the early 1900's. Sammye Simone has a detailed, extensive site on Family Tree Maker. Tom found her there and we have been commuicating with her.
