I am a descendant of James Atherton b. 6/16/1851 in Lee, Illinois. He married Mary Wheeler 12/18/1870 in Earlville, Illinois. They moved to Zurich Kansas where they lived until they died. I have James parents listed as Ralph Atherton and Maria Sein. I have John and William Atherton listed as siblings. No further info for these. James and Mary had Ora L. Atherton of Alva Okla., Mattie M. Gish of College Place Wash., George and Flora E Ouderkirk of Zurich, W. Atherton of Sharon Springs, Kansas.
