Looking for parents of Milton ATHERTON b 1824 in Cayuga NY. From marriage record they are Cornelius and Mary ATHERTON but cannot locate them. I believe Cornelius may be the son of John ATHERTON b Dutchess Co NY 1762 and d April 1841 in Luzerne Co PA. John was son of Cornelius b 1736 Harvard MA. If any one has a connection would appreciate the assistance.
