Hi. My husband is Joseph Dennis Atherton. His father was George William Atherton, b. 1905. George's father: John ? Atherton, b. maybe 1860-70s. John's father, George W. Atherton. I don't know where they came from originally. The landed in Ohio. This is going to sound really stupid, but if they have names on the back that match mine and if I e-mail you a scanned picture of my husband's father and it resembles your photos will you consider me as a potential recipient of some of the pictures--the ones that pertain to my husband?
I, too, have a couple pictures I am trying to find "family" for--in St. Louis. So I know how you want to give them to the right people.
