I am looking for any info pertaining to my maiden name Atherton. My father is 69 yrs old and either doesn't know much, doesn't remember much, or makes stuff up as he goes along.
Anyway, my father's name is Albert Ralph Atherton born in Springfield, Ma on August 6, 1940. Mother Margaret Mason Atherton (b09-12-18 d07-1983). She was originally from Agawan, Ma. She was married to two men Ralph Pond and Hyland Carl Atherton. Hyland supposedly adopted Albert soon after he was born. But, his biological father may have been either Ralph Pond or a man named Howard Merle. Not sure!
Albert has a sister named Alberta Pond Montagna from Springfield, Ma.
