Hello everyone interested in the towns in southern Windsor County Vermont, including Cavendish, Reading, Weathersfield, Chester, Ludlow, Plymouth, Andover, Springfield, etc. The Cavendish, Vt. Historical Society is working on producing Vol. 4 in its series, FAMILIES of CAVENDISH and the Black River Valley Region of lower Windsor County, Vermont. VOl. 4 will have the following families included and their related lines: Atherton, Bemis, Heald, Ordway, Putnam, Weston. We hope to have it out in December. It will be over 400 pages long and full of history, pictures, diaries, old letters, and comprehensive information about these family lines that either began or came through the area.
