I do not have my paperwork with me but this is the gist of what I got in the Provincial
Archives. Humphrey Atherton of England had a
son,Edmund; Edmund had two sons,James and
Humphrey; James had a son,James. My husband's family is descended from this line.
I don't know if this helps any or makes it more complicated. The next time I come to the Access Center, I will bring the dates.
