I am researching John (James?) Silas Atherton and noticed that my Athertons and yours seem to be in the same areas. I have not found any siblings of JS so far...could there be any connections to your Richard Pascal Atherton?

John Silas Atherton was b. 1857 in Leitchfield KY. He is believed to be the son of Sylus Atherton and Martha Harp (both KY natives). JS married Eliza Berry in Hanson (Hopkins Co) KY in 1887. Their first son was named James Edgar Atherton b. 1888 in Paducah. The oldest daughter was named Clara. They had 7 more children-Charlie, Mary Lou, Noble Bryant, Maxwell, Lulu, Hallie, and Ollie-born in Paducah before 1906. By 1908, they were in Calvert City KY and arrived in Dallas Texas before 1916.
