I'll keep you updated. By the way, I have what I think is a wonderful picture of Eula and Julian Atherton posing in a studio portrait. It had to be before 1911, since Julian died at 29 years of age. They appear very young. I'll send you a copy, if you'd like.
Eula was born 1887/1888 and Julian 1882. Eula is the taller one in the picture. Julian married my grandmother who was part Cherokee Indian, olive skinned, jet black hair, brown eyes and 4'11" tall.
Mother was only five when he died but she could remember how much he enjoyed reading. He named her Arietta after a character in the novel he was reading before she was born in 1906.
We don't know for sure why they were in OK Indian territority when Arietta was born. She was delivered 2 months early by an Indian midwife. I think Eula and Julian were probably selling their land in OK, after listening to Eula's tape.
