I think all have accepted April 14, 1774 as a wedding date for George and Mary but where did it come from?? Was it a family Bible? Not a legal document in the county of Loudoun, or so they tell me, there are no marriages before 1793 recorded. Just looking for a primary source, church record, marriage record or Bible record.

I am missing James as a son of George and Mary. I have the first James as son of Abraham and Charity, and he married Sabina Thomas ? Is this the correct James?

Like I said, I have loads on Thomas and Eliza Brown Ater and lots of George Jr. that married Elizabeth Watts --

My sister went to Frederick Co. MD today to get information on the Baptismal records of George and Mary Boyer Ater's children from the church records. Hope she has a good day and fills in some blanks for us all.

Help, if I am totally missing James as son of George and Mary !!

Kay
