Candy Ator was my great grandmother, mother of Mathias Anderson Shaver, grandmother of Dale Anderson and David Earl Shaver born in Louisiana. Their mother died when Dale was 7 and Candy came to care for them. She is buried in Krum, Texas. Mathias died in 1971 and is buried in Joaquin, Texas next to his wife Bessie Lee Adams Shaver. My maiden name is Shaver, and my married name is Adams.
