Received your info in E-mail; thank you so very much. s and I forwarded it to connection in Lubbock. Did you hear the family tale that one brother left name as Ater, other going off to another territority changed named (somehow, could have only been through census records) to Ator?

In your info, you refer to Ator as the ancestors; however, we have only heard the name Ater in the line of Samuel Anderson Ater who Married Martha Charlotte Wilson; re: our line, Buford Ater. Curious as to the change of name.
